TRIAL UPDATE: Hearing: August 28, 2025
The Attorney General’s prosecutor insists on having a 2nd trial, and the judge has no authority to deny this. The prosecutor thinks she can call a couple more incompetent police officers to testify, but the crime took place 21 years ago and none of the police we took depositions from could actually remember much.
My attorney submitted another Motion to Acquit. The judge denied it.
The first week in which all three parties – judge, defense attorney and prosecutor – have free at the same time is September 8, 2026.
My attorneys require an additional $100,000 from me to proceed to a second trial. Meanwhile, all my bond conditions remain in effect, including House Arrest, and the GPS monitoring device I am required to wear costs me $321 per month. So there’s another $4000 down the drain.
